READ THIS CAREFULLY. By accessing or using gistmox.com (the “Site”) and any related services, feeds, newsletters, or communications (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

“GistMox”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to the operator of gistmox.com. “You” or “User” refers to any visitor, reader, or account holder using the Services.

1) Acceptance of Terms

By using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy (incorporated by reference). If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

4) What We Do (Scope of Service)

GistMox aggregates and curates job postings, opportunities, and related resources from third-party sources. We do not hire you, do not guarantee employment, and are not responsible for any decision an employer or recruiter makes. You are solely responsible for verifying the legitimacy, accuracy, and current status of any role before applying.

5) No Guarantees / Independent Verification

We make no promises about:

  • The accuracy, completeness, currency, or availability of any listing.
  • Compensation figures, eligibility, deadlines, or benefits posted on the Site.
  • Getting you an interview, offer, visa, or sponsorship.

Always verify on the official career page or with the employer directly before sharing sensitive data or paying any fee.

6) Accounts & Security (If/When Accounts Exist)

If we enable accounts:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.

7) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Scrape, crawl, copy, or mirror substantial parts of the Site without our written consent.
  2. Post, upload, or transmit any malicious code, spam, or unlawful content.
  3. Misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any person or entity.
  4. Use the Site to harass, defame, or violate the rights of others.
  5. Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s operation, hosting, or security.

8) Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site (text, branding, layout, design, and compilation) is owned by GistMox or licensed to us and is protected by applicable IP laws.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on our content without prior written permission.

9) Your Submissions & Feedback

If you submit content (e.g., corrections, leads, feedback):

  • You grant GistMox a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute that content in any media.
  • You confirm you have the rights to grant this license and that your submission does not violate any third-party rights.

10) Third-Party Links, Employers & Recruiters

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services. We don’t control or endorse them, and we are not responsible for:

  • Their content, accuracy, or policies.
  • Any damages or losses arising from your use of those sites or dealings with those parties.

11) Paid Services, Refunds & Billing (If Introduced)

If we introduce paid services:

  • Fees, billing cycles, and refund policies will be clearly disclosed at purchase.
  • Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable once the service is delivered or the billing period starts.
  • We may use third-party processors; your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

12) Affiliate & Advertising Disclosure (If Applicable)

From time to time, we may include affiliate links or sponsored posts. If/when we do, we will clearly label them. We are not responsible for the products, services, or claims of our advertisers or affiliate partners.

14) Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, TIMELY, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

15) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GISTMOX (AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED ₦100,000 (one hundred thousand naira) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

16) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GistMox and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your access to or use of the Services,
  • Your violation of these Terms,
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.

17) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity) shall survive.

18) Takedown / Infringement Notices

If you believe any content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us with:

  • Your contact details,
  • A description of the allegedly infringing content and where it appears,
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized,
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf,
  • Your signature (physical or electronic).

We will review and act appropriately, which may include removing or disabling access to the content.

19) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
