Job Summary
The ideal candidtae will manage, visit and sell industrial equipment to customers in the assigned area. You are also required to develop, find and retain quality customers in their assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals by identifying specific sales prospects, targets and markets and developing action plans and timelines to forecast contact volumes.
- Manage, visit and directly sell to customers in their assigned territory and will be actively involved in planned prospecting activities to expand the customer base.
- Build trust by following up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities and staying in regular contact with existing and new accounts, especially key accounts.
- Respond quickly to customer inquiries, introducing new products and upgrades, researching customer needs, and providing service to customers are essential skills that sales representatives need to master in product sales.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, prices and credit terms.
- Maintain a professional image at all times through personal actions and initiative.
- Enhance the reputation and brand image of the department and the company by consistently implementing the company’s core values of Commitment, Interaction and Innovation.
- Obtain, develop, prepare, deliver and present sales materials, exhibits and promotional programs when attending trade shows, conferences, meetings and other local, regional and national promotional opportunities.
- Continually update their job knowledge (both product and sales/marketing strategies and skills) through attending educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking and participating in professional organisations.
- Generate assigned reports, including activity, lost sales, wins, follow-up, and performance against budget. These reports may also include special developments, information and feedback gathered through field activities, such as recommendations for products, services or pricing changes and competitive landscape assessments.
- Business Reporting and action plan shared in periodic meetings with Anest Iwata Japan Team
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in direct sales/services of compressor or industrial equipment sales. However, compressor for air conditioners (including cars) is excluded.
- A four-year degree in engineering, business, or marketing is preferred, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Be able to fluently communicate in English with Anest Iwata Japan
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Be self-directed
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated business analysis skills
- Possess and hold a valid driver’s license
