Strategy Analyst (Remote)

Gratia is currently seeking to hire a Strategy Analyst with at least 2 years work experience. As a Strategy Analyst at Gratia, you’ll be a crucial analytical partner, working closely with clients to enhance their strategic decision-making. Your role involves conducting in-depth analyses of market trends, internal processes, and performance metrics, contributing directly to the success of client projects. This entry to mid-level position offers opportunities for growth and skill development, allowing you to actively participate in solving complex business problems alongside clients. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will make a significant impact on our clients’ decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborative Market Research and Analysis

• Work hand-in-hand with clients to conduct comprehensive market research, identifying trends, opportunities, and threats
• Analyze industry and competitor data for specific projects, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making

Financial Modeling and Strategic Planning

• Develop and maintain financial models tailored to specific projects, supporting strategic initiatives
• Assist in forecasting and scenario analysis for individual projects, actively engaging with clients to shape strategic plans
• Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial insights to support decision-making

Financial Acumen and Analysis

• Understands the principal accounting statements and begins to demonstrate comprehension of key metrics used to test financial viability
• Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for specific projects, collaborating closely with clients
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes related to assigned projects, identifying areas for improvement
• Demonstrate the ability to handle and manipulate data effectively, including data cleaning, data transformation, and basic data analysis techniques
• Can create clear and visually appealing data visualizations to communicate insights effectively

Experience and Attributes

Successful candidates will likely possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA as well as a professional certification is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, or a similar role. 
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and collaboratively solve complex business problems.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality, accurate work.
